UNA GIORNATA CON PETER GREENAWAY
In collaborazione con Edizioni ERL e Rivellino di Locarno, sarà disponibile
il libro dell’artista “92 Drawings, The Tulse Luper Suitcases” Vol. One.
Dear Peter,
My wife and I recently met Arminio Sciolli at the San Gio Video Festival in Verona and heard about your exhibition. Arminio gave us a copy of the catalog for the Tulse Luper Suitcases.
Of course, I know of your work and have followed your career. As creator of the film program at Syracuse University and current Artistic Director of the Syracuse International Film Festival, I would like to introduce myself and issue an invitation for you to join us in October (13-16) or at a future festival or special event. lt would be my pleasure to hear from you and perhaps work to bring you to Syracuse.
Please feel free to talk with Arminio about our festival, which shares the artistic & philosophical vision with San Gio. We are a festival focusing on the work of international, independent filmmakers – definitely non-Hollywood. Our recent special guests have included Gian Vittorio Baldi, Ed Harris, Silvano Campeggi, Milcho Manchevski, Robert M. Young & cinematographers Atsushi Koizumi & Stefano Coletta, as well as actor Peter Weller. It would be our hope to include you in this group.
The Tulse Luper Suitcases would be perfect for our art gallery – a small gallery of noted international work by artists such as Liliana Porter and Jaime Davidovich.
When you have time in your schedule, I hope to hear from you.
Sincerely,
Owen Shapiro
